Mainly clear skies will prevail overnight. Patchy fog will be possible toward sunrise. Lows will range from the 60s over the mountains, to the lower to mid 70s across the southeast. Highs on Wednesday will be in the upper 80s to mid 90s and could challenge daily records in some locations. Heat indices will reach or exceed the century mark across parts of the Keystone state. A heat advisory in effect for portions of central and eastern Pennsylvania. While there will be a chance of showers and storms later on during the afternoon and evening hours on Wednesday, most of the showers and storms will be during the afternoon hours on Thursday, lingering across the southeast into Friday morning. Some of the rain could be on the heavy side, especially across the southeast on Thursday. There is an elevated risk of flash flooding near and to the southeast of the Interstate 81 corridor Thursday into Thursday night.
