Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1032 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.4 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Much of the area continues under a Flash Flood Warning, as well. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Whitley City, Stearns, Blue Heron, Marshes Siding, Pine Knot, Co-Operative, Strunk, Wiborg, Beulah Heights, Parkers Lake, Hollyhill and Great Meadows Campsites. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
