WEST CENTRAL MCLEAN AND NORTHEASTERN PEORIA COUNTIES THROUGH 1045 PM
CDT...

At 1029 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Henry to Green Valley.
Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Peoria, Pekin, East Peoria, Morton, Chillicothe, Eureka, Lacon,
Washington, Creve Coeur, Metamora, Germantown Hills, Marquette
Heights, Henry, Tremont, Minonk, Roanoke, Mackinaw, Rome, Toluca, and
Minier.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 155 between mile markers 15 and 31.
 Interstate 39 between mile markers 16 and 40.
 Interstate 474 between mile markers 10 and 14.
 Interstate 74 between mile markers 94 and 121.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
