Steady northwest/north winds this evening will weaken overnight with 
speeds lowering below 10 mph 2200-2300 pdt.  This will delay inversions 
from setting in until closer to 2200.  Strongest winds will be on 
ridgetops and through aligned north to south drainages. Skies will clear 
with fair to good recoveries in the lower valleys and poor recoveries mid 
to upper slopes which is 20-25% drier than Thursday morning.  A subtle 
shift toward northeast winds is expected after 0500 with speeds near 
5 mph.
