...RAIN SHOWERS AND EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS LIFTING NORTH THROUGH 
CENTRAL MONTANA EARLY THIS AFTERNOON WITH A PERIOD OF RAIN, GUSTY 
WINDS AND ISOLATED LIGHTNING THROUGH 300 PM MDT...

At 156 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking showers and thunderstorms 
along a line extending from west of Helena across Canyon Ferry Lake 
to the Bridger Range. Movement was north at 35 mph. Expect a period 
of rain and gusty winds to around 40 mph as this area of 
precipitation arrives with isolated stronger thunderstorm cells 
producing lightning  with perhaps some small hail over the 
mountains. This area of precipitation will as far north as areas 
from Lincoln east to Wolf Creek and the Little Belts by 3 PM.   

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Helena, Townsend, White Sulphur Springs, East Helena, Montana City,
Wolf Creek, Fort Logan On The Smith River, York, Rimini, Alhambra,
Spring Meadow Lake State Park, Austin, Fort Logan, Winston, Maudlow,
Silos, Clancy, Checkerboard, Goose Bay, and Ringling.
