At 156 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking showers and thunderstorms along a line extending from west of Helena across Canyon Ferry Lake to the Bridger Range. Movement was north at 35 mph. Expect a period of rain and gusty winds to around 40 mph as this area of precipitation arrives with isolated stronger thunderstorm cells producing lightning with perhaps some small hail over the mountains. This area of precipitation will as far north as areas from Lincoln east to Wolf Creek and the Little Belts by 3 PM. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated.
