  Southeastern Lawrence County in southeastern Ohio...
  Cabell County in central West Virginia...
  North Central Lincoln County in central West Virginia...
  Northern Wayne County in western West Virginia...

* Until 615 PM EDT.

* At 315 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. The expected rainfall rate is 4 
  to 6 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to 
  begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Huntington, Ashland, Chesapeake, Proctorville, Beech Fork State 
  Park, Barboursville, Kenova, Milton, Catlettsburg, Ceredo, Ona, 
  Burnaugh, Durbin, Culloden, South Point, Burlington, Athalia, Pea 
  Ridge, Lavalette and Scottown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll 
free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.
