Under mostly clear skies, very mild overnight temperatures were in
place across central and eastern Kansas. Early morning readings
were generally around 80 degrees. Normal lows for this time of
year are in the middle 60s. 

Unseasonably hot temperatures and gusty southwest winds are
expected across the Plains today. Look for highs today to range
from around 100 across most of Nebraska to the low 90s across
Missouri. Not much is expected to change to the overall weather
pattern for tonight as dry conditions remain. Look for overnight
lows to range from around 60 over western Nebraska to the upper
70s across eastern Kansas into Oklahoma.
