Rain for the most part has exited the region, with a few isolated
showers in the far northern parts of the region. Wrap around
moisture will bring additional chances for showers across the
north and east today. Today will also be cooler and windier than 
yesterday, with highs only in the 60s and widespread sustained
winds around 30 to 35 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph, especially
across the Dakotas. Smoke aloft could also lead to on and off 
hazy skies through the weekend, with a few areas seeing brief
period of smoke near the surface this morning.
