Temperatures in the upper 40s and 50s were observed across Nebraska, while temperatures in the middle 60s were observed in Oklahoma and Arkansas. Additional showers and a few storms are expected to continue across the Central Plains today as a system moves east through the region. Chances for off-and-on showers and storms will reside in Kansas through late tonight. High temperatures this afternoon will reach the 60s and 70s throughout the Heartland. Chances for residual showers and storms will persist into the overnight hours, especially in eastern Kansas and western Missouri Low temperatures will range from the middle 30s across the High Plains to the middle 60s in Arkansas. $$
