EVENING FOR NORTHEASTERN BUCHANAN, SOUTH CENTRAL LOGAN, WESTERN 
MCDOWELL, SOUTHEASTERN MINGO AND NORTHWESTERN WYOMING COUNTIES...

At 1013 PM EST, gauge reports indicated flooding across the warned 
area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding 
is ongoing.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Gauges reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

  War, Man, Hanover, R.d. Bailey Lake, Gilbert Creek, Mallory, 
  Amherstdale-Robinette, Gilbert, Bradshaw, Iaeger, Panther, 
  Avondale, Jolo, Coal Mountain, Hampden, Bruno, Sarah Ann, 
  Amherstdale-Robine, Cucumber and Chauncey.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll 
free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.
