...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM WEDNESDAY TO 11 AM 
PDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected.

* WHERE...Mojave Desert Slopes.

* WHEN...From 8 PM Wednesday to 11 AM PDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. 
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, 
  especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highways affected include, nut are not 
  limited to Highway 14, Highway 58, Highway 178, and US Highway 395.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and 
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution 
if you must drive.

  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
