...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL SANDOVAL AND WEST
CENTRAL SANTA FE COUNTIES THROUGH 315 PM MDT...

At 240 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
San Felipe Pueblo, or 13 miles northeast of Bernalillo, moving
northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Eldorado At Santa Fe, Santo Domingo Pueblo, Cerrillos Hills State
Park, San Felipe Pueblo, Kewa Pueblo, Cochiti Pueblo, La Bajada,
Madrid, La Cienega, and Los Cerrillos.

This includes Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 249 and 276.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Motorists can expect brief but sudden changes in visibility and
ponding of water on highways as storms move through the area.
