Western portions of Utah, including the fire, will find itself under a south to southwest flow for much of today, allowing deeper moisture from the south to stream northward, allowing for scattered showers and thunderstorms to develop this afternoon. With a trough moving onshore along the Pacific Northwest coast today, shortwave energy ejecting from this system will move into the vicinity of the fire later today and into tonight, allowing for coverage of showers to increase further this evening and overnight. Showers will remain fairly widespread in the vicinity of the fire through Thursday before drier air begins to move in beginning Friday. .TODAY...
