Winds were calm primarily in the western part of the state compared to breezy southerly winds at speeds 15 to 20 mph with gusts of 25 to 30 mph in the central and eastern portions. Skies were mostly clear with only some mid to high level clouds. The nice conditions will continue into the evening for everyone to entertain any outdoor activity of their choosing. Overnight temperatures are forecast to drop to the mid 20s in Nebraska to the mid 40s in Oklahoma. Light and variable winds are anticipated overnight. Skies should be partly cloudy. Another warm above normal spring like day is expected for Wednesday in the Central Plains with high temperatures in the mid 50s in western Nebraska to the upper 70s in Oklahoma. Partly to mostly cloudy skies will occur. Southerly winds are anticipated at 10 to 15 mph for most of Kansas and Oklahoma with light north as well as east winds in Nebraska.
