...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1210 AM PST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by moderate to locally heavy rainfall 
  continues.

* WHERE...A portion of Southwest California, including the following 
  counties, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino.

* WHEN...Until 1210 AM PST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1057 PM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected
    to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.2 and 0.5
    inches of rain have fallen in the past 3 hours.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.15 to 0.25 inches are
    expected over the area. This additional rain will result in
    minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Anaheim, Santa Ana, Riverside, Irvine, San Bernardino,
    Fontana, Moreno Valley, Huntington Beach, Garden Grove and
    Ontario.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
