...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 AM EST THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Pennsylvania, including the 
  following county, Montgomery.

* WHEN...Until 945 AM EST.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 720 AM EST, the gage at Schwenksville on the East Branch
    of the Perkiomen Creek is in flood stage but has crested and
    has dropped below moderate. Flooding is already occurring in
    the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - For East Branch Perkiomen at Schwenksville:
    At 6:15am the stage was 9.85 feet.
    Flood Stage is 8 feet.
    ...
    For Perkiomen Creek at Graterford:
    At 7:01am the stage was 13.18 feet.
    Flood Stage is 11 feet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most 
flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
