A large area of fog moving northeast out of far Southeast Georgia will impact the parts of the Georgia coastal waters this morning. The risk for fog impacts will be greatest from Ossabaw Sound south to the Altamaha Sound out to 5 NM. Visibilities in this area could drop below 2 NM with localized visibilities dropping below 1/2 NM at times. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners are urged to navigate with extreme care. If you must navigate in these conditions, proceed with caution. Use proper fog signals, including fog horns. Make sure all navigational running lights are on. Please relay any reports of fog to the Tybee Island Coast Guard station and ask them to immediately forward your report to the National Weather Service in Charleston. && $$
