...PATCHY DENSE FOG AFFECTING INTERSTATES 86 AND 84 THIS MORNING...

Patchy dense fog has been observed on Interstate 86 from areas west 
of the cities of Pocatello and Chubbuck to the interchange with 
Interstate 84. This is making travel at normal highway speeds 
hazardous. The patchy and moving nature of the area of near zero 
visibility means that it can happen suddenly at any point on this 
portion of highway.

The dense fog risk lasts through 11 AM MST today.

Locations impacted include...
Burley, American Falls, Heyburn, Neeley, American Falls Reservoir,
southern Lake Walcott, Declo, Albion, Cold Water Rest Area, Pocatello
Airport, Yale Rest Area, Massacre Rocks, Idahome, and Interstate 84
And 86 Junction.

Visibilities can suddenly become near zero in the fog. If you are 
driving, slow down and be on alert for other motorists. Low 
visibility shortens the amount of time you have to react to 
situations.
