.SYNOPSIS...Dry conditions, cool temperatures and mainly light 
easterly winds will continue through Monday, before slight warming 
develops for at least Tuesday and Wednesday. Unsettled weather is 
expected later next week, with southwesterly winds, a bit colder 
temperatures and chances for rain and snow.

.DISCUSSION...Patches of SC remain over the CWA, trapped under 
a subsidence inversion. Most areas have cleared, but a stubborn 
cloud layer remains over northeast Arizona, which may take much of 
the night to clear out. Aside from that, cool and dry weather will 
be the rule into early next week, with generally light easterly 
winds. Some gap flow and favored terrain area SW of higher terrain 
may see higher gusts overnight, but this will be localized.

Possibilities for precipitation return later in the week, but model 
differences are significant and we will need to wait for a more 
consolidated solution.

Grids look cold tonight and that seems appropriate, no short term 
updates needed.

.AVIATION...Sunday 26/06Z through Monday 27/06Z...VFR and light 
winds through the period. Localized NE winds tonight may gust to 
25kts just SW of higher terrain and resume AFT 03Z Monday. Roughly 
NE of a KPGA-KRQE line, stubborn areas of CIGS from 4-6kft AGL 
should dissipate by 10Z-12Z Sunday.

OUTLOOK...Monday 27/06Z through Wednesday 29/06Z...VFR with mainly 
light N-NE winds.

.FIRE WEATHER...Sunday and Monday...Dry and cool both days, with 
high temperatures below normal. Generally light northerly through 
easterly winds, although localized areas southwest of higher terrain 
may gust to 25 mph at night.

Tuesday through Thursday...Continued dry Tuesday, but turning 
slightly warmer. Southwest winds return Wednesday or Thursday, due 
to a series of storms developing over the region. Precipitation 
chances also return late in this forecast period, with normal or 
near normal temperatures.
