Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...Low pressure of 29.6 inches over Hudson Bay will continue moving northeast this afternoon while 30.3 inch high pressure ridging over Nova Scotia will persist into Saturday. Weak troughing at 30.0 inches will develop over western Lake Superior today and tonight before dissipating Saturday. As a 30.3 inch high pressure center then takes shape over southern Ontario and adjacent Quebec during Saturday night and Sunday, a 29.7 inch low pressure will develop over the western Dakotas. The low, weakening to 29.8 inches, will lift into northern Ontario on Monday as the high pressure settles to the Mid-Atlantic States. On Tuesday, 30.2 inch high pressure will remain over the Mid- Atlantic States while a 29.8 inch low pressure trough extends from northern Ontario to western Nebraska.
