...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FOR SOUTHWEST NEW MEXICO ON FRIDAY 
DUE TO WARM, DRY, AND BREEZY WEATHER...

.Southwest flow aloft increases on Friday in response to a
weak storm system over the Four Corners region. Above normal 
temperatures and very dry air will combine with gusty southwest 
winds on Friday to create high fire danger. Sustained 20-ft winds 
of 20 to 25 mph will be possible with gusts up to 35 mph in the 
afternoon. Any fires that develop will have the potential for 
rapid fire growth.

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 9 PM MDT FRIDAY FOR
STRONG WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY FOR SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH CENTRAL 
MEXICO...

The National Weather Service in El Paso Tx/Santa Teresa has
issued a Red Flag Warning for strong winds and low humidity, 
which is in effect from noon to 9 PM MDT Friday. 

* AFFECTED AREA...Portions of southwest and south-central New 
  Mexico, including fire weather zones 110, 111, 112, and 113. 

* TIMING...Noon to 9 PM on Friday.

* WINDS...Southwest 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 8 percent.

* TEMPERATURES...Around 90.

* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. 
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
