...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM THIS MORNING TO EARLY SUNDAY 
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...South Platte River near Kersey.

* WHEN...From this morning to early Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Considerable lowland and meadow flooding 
  occurs. This level represents a flood that has a 10-percent chance 
  of being equaled or exceeded in any given year.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

    - At 10:30 AM MDT Thursday the stage was 7.8 feet.

    - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.3
    feet early tomorrow afternoon.

    - Action stage is 8.0 feet.

    - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
