...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of south central Mobile
County through 1100 AM CDT...

At 1004 AM CDT, National Weather Service doppler radar indicated a 
strong thunderstorm capable of producing a waterspout over the Gulf 
of Mexico roughly 9 miles southwest of Dauphin Island, moving east 
at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 
         hazardous waters. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs 
         and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Dauphin Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until noon CDT for
