...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northern St. Johns
and southeastern Duval Counties through 430 PM EDT...

At 344 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
World Golf Village, or 7 miles southeast of Fruit Cove, moving
northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds around 40 mph, half inch hail, and excessive 
         cloud-to-ground lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 
         possible. Excessive cloud-to-ground lightning is occurring.

Locations impacted include...
Ponte Vedra Beach, Fruit Cove, Jacksonville Beach, World Golf
Village, Sawgrass, Nocatee, Durbin, Palm Valley, South Ponte Vedra
and Bayard.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Jacksonville.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
northeastern Florida.
