...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM MST/6 AM MDT/ SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt is expected.

* WHERE...Cataract Creek from the Redlands Crossing to the Colorado 
  River.

* WHEN...Until 500 AM MST Saturday /600 AM MDT Saturday/.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of Cataract Creek is imminent or occurring with 
  further rises in the water levels expected. Deadly flooding over 
  low-water crossings and minor flooding in the Supai campground is 
  expected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 143 AM MST /243 AM MDT/, river gauges indicated
    significant rises along Cataract Creek due to prior heavy
    rain and snowmelt. Flooding is already occurring in the
    warned area.
  - This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
    Havasu Creek.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Havasupai Reservation and Supai.
  - This includes the following swimming holes...
    All swimming holes on Havasu Creek near Supai.
  - Visit www.weather.gov/safety/flood for more information on
    flood safety.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Stay away or be swept away! The banks of creeks and washes are 
unstable and unsafe during any flooding event.

Get out of washes and creeks if you are camping or hiking! Flooding 
is occurring or imminent and will inundate area drainages.
