Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...A Manitoba high at 30.7 inches this evening over Lake Superior will weaken to 30.6 inches tonight as a 29.6 inch low tracks into the mid-Atlantic states. The low pressure exits off the Jersey shore tonight and deepens to 29.0 inches Saturday. Saturday night, as the Manitoba high weakens further to 30.5 inches, a 29.7 inch low over the Dakotas will slowly spin eastward. The low will approach western Lake Superior Sunday afternoon at 29.8 inches, while the Manitoba high further weakens to 30.4 inches. Monday, the low will phase with another low that is forecast to track across the Southeast, enabling a 29.2 inch low over New England. The Manitoba high will then shift south over Lake Superior at 30.3 inches to start the new week. The high builds to 30.4 inches over the Upper Great Lakes Tuesday. A 29.7 inch low moves across northern Ontario Wednesday, supporting a 29.9 inch trough over Lake Superior through Wednesday afternoon.
