  Mississippi River At Red River Landing affecting West Feliciana, 
  East Baton Rouge and Pointe Coupee Parishes.

For the Lower Mississippi River...including Red River Landing...
Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT TO 
SATURDAY, MARCH 25...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River At Red River Landing.

* WHEN...From late Saturday night to Saturday, March 25.

* IMPACTS...At 51.0 feet, All river islands along the reach from Red 
  River Landing to Baton Rouge will be inundated. Recreational camps 
  and river bottom farm land will be under water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 6:00 PM CST Tuesday the stage was 46.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Sunday morning to a crest of 50.0 feet Sunday, March
    19. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday, March 25.
  - Flood stage is 48.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    50.1 feet on 04/28/1938.
