High pressure centered over Quebec will nose southwards and 
guarantee fair dry weather through at least Wednesday evening. A 
storm system that will develop over the plains Wednesday night is 
then forecast to track from the Lower Ohio valley to near Lake Erie 
by Thursday evening. This will result in widespread rain for our 
region with rainfall ranging from a third of an inch in the Finger 
Lakes region to nearly an inch over the Niagara Frontier and east of 
Lake Ontario. The rain will transition to a couple inches of snow on 
Friday.
