The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Yavapai County in west central Arizona...

* Until 630 PM MST.

* At 317 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Life-threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life-threatening flash flooding of low-water
           crossings, creeks, normally dry washes and roads.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  mainly rural areas of Yavapai County

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
  Butte Creek, Francis Creek, Loco Creek, Deep Canyon, Copper Creek, 
  Salt Creek, Bridle Creek, Pine Creek, Little Sycamore Wash, 
  Mineral Creek, Burro Creek, Wilder Creek, Contreras Wash, Boulder 
  Creek, Cottonwood Canyon and Conger Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.
