...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of south central Wake
and west central Johnston Counties through 400 PM EDT...

At 315 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Angier, or 13 miles northeast of Lillington, moving northeast at 10
mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Raleigh, Garner, Fuquay-Varina, Lake Benson and Lake Wheeler. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Dont wait until you see the first lightning flash before heading to
safety. Move indoors at the first sign of threatening skies or the
first sound of thunder. Deadly lightning strikes can occur well ahead
of an approaching storm, prior to the arrival of rain and wind. Make
