Little to no rainfall was detected over land areas. Maximum temperatures were from the mid 80s to the low 90s. Winds were from the east to northeast at 15 to 20 mph with sea breeze variations and higher gusts at times. For tonight, passing showers will move at times across the islands. However, no significant rainfall amounts. Showers are expected to increase on Saturday afternoon across the islands, as a tropical wave enters the eastern Caribbean. Minimum temperatures are expected to range from the low to upper 70s. Winds will continue from the east to northeast around 10 mph. Moderate to locally fresh winds will maintain some choppy conditions across the waters today. Seas of 6 feet or and winds up to 20 knots are expected. There is a high risk of rip currents for beaches of eastern St. Croix.
