.SYNOPSIS...A strong ridge of high pressure over Arizona will
bring hot temperatures through this weekend. The hottest
temperatures yet this season are in store, with Excessive Heat
Warnings in effect for the lower elevations. Dry conditions are
expected for much of the area, though high-based showers and
thunderstorms are possible over the high terrain though Saturday.
