* Until 100 PM EDT/noon CDT/.

* At 1056 AM EDT/956 AM CDT/, a strong thunderstorm was located 15 
  nm northeast of Empire Mica Wreck, moving east at 10 knots. 
  Numerous other showers and thunderstorms were scattered across the 
  northeast Gulf.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher 
           waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Make 
           sure all on board are wearing life jackets.

* Locations impacted include...
  O Tower, K Tower, S Tower, V Tower, Empire Mica Wreck,
  Apalachicola, C Tower, Cape San Blas and St George Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
