...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of west central
Washington and east central Hancock Counties through 845 PM EDT...

At 812 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16
miles northeast of Dedham, or 19 miles northeast of Ellsworth, moving
east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mariaville, Amherst, Aurora and Beddington. 

This includes State Highway 9 between Amherst and Junction 193.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
