Scattered thunderstorms will continue to develop along and near
the New Mexico state line late this afternoon. Movement of this
activity will be northeast around 25 mph, and will primarily
affect areas west of a Friona to Morton line. Brief gusty winds,
small hail, some blowing dust, and quick downpours are expected 
with these thunderstorms. There is the potential for some of these
storms to intensify with time and become severe.
