...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of southern Washington,
northern Hyde, west central Dare, southeastern Martin, northeastern
Beaufort and southern Tyrrell Counties through 900 PM EDT...

At 819 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles west of Gum Neck to near Terra Ceia.
Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Washington, Belhaven, Killkenny, Manns Harbor, Ponzer, Scranton,
Pinetown, Gum Neck, Kilkenny, Fairfield, Pungo, Wenona, Hinson,
Bunyan, Pike Road, Leechville, Terra Ceia, Yeatesville, Fort Landing
and Frying Pan Landing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
