A red flag warning continues through 8 pm for areas along and southwest of a line from Washington to Council Grove to Garnett. Take care to prevent anything from sparking a wild fire. A wind advisory is also posted until 8 pm for north central Kansas, or areas along and west of a line from Washington to Council Grove.
