...Preliminary Storm Survey Scheduled for Today for multiple areas
in East Texas...

Two National Weather Service storm survey teams from Shreveport 
LA will conduct surveys today along the tracks of two storm cells
which passed through East Texas last night and produced areas of 
damage. One team will be investigating the track of a cell that 
moved from from northern Smith County northeast to Cass County
and another team will be investigating the track of a cell that 
passed from Cherokee County northeast to Harrison County. Note
that these teams will probably not be able to examine all portions
of these tracks today. 

As mentioned, it is likely both of these survey teams will not be
able to totally complete all needed surveys today. A final 
assessment including results of the all surveys is expected to be 
completed and transmitted via a Public Information Statement by 
tomorrow evening, although preliminary survey information gathered
today will be posted this evening.
