PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Mississippi River Above Tiptonville.

* WHEN...Until early Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 39.0 feet, In Tennessee, water begins to go over 
  Tiptonville Ferry Road, Barr Road, and the farm land east of the 
  Tiptonville Ferry Road.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 6:00 PM CST Monday the stage was 37.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 37.9
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage Friday morning.
  - Flood stage is 37.0 feet.
