A strong cold front currently approaching Cape Canaveral will continue to sag southward through sunrise. Behind the front, increasing winds and building seas will spread south and produce hazardous boating conditions over the local Atlantic waters. North winds will increase to between 15 and 25 knots, with seas building to between 6 and 8 feet offshore Volusia County, where a Small Craft Advisory goes into effect this evening. The advisory will go into effect offshore Brevard County late tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY. Hazardous boating conditions will be in place this weekend, before improving into early next week. Minor beach erosion will be possible around the times of high tide Saturday and Saturday night. The risk for dangerous rip currents will be moderate with rough, choppy surf also expected. Behind the front, much colder temperatures are expected to occur, with upper 30s to around 40 degrees north of Interstate 4 early Sunday morning. It will be even colder Monday morning, with lows at or near freezing over northern Lake and Volusia Counties, and mid to upper 30s across the remainder of east central Florida away from the Atlantic coast, where it will be several degrees milder. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
