...An ice jam was producing above bankfull but below flood stage 
levels along portions of the Menominee River...

For the Menominee River at Pembine
* The latest stage was 14.3 feet.
* Impacts at 15.0 feet. There is a minor ice jam downstream of the 
  Pemene Falls during the winter season.

Ice jams can cause water levels to rise suddenly.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. The next scheduled 
routine statement will be issued tomorrow morning.
