The National Weather Service office in Peachtree City GA will
conduct storm surveys today for the area near Covington in Newton
County GA and for near Villa Rica in Carroll County GA. The 
survey are in relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved 
through the area on Friday evening, December 31, 2021.

A final assessment including results of the survey are expected
to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information
Statement by later this afternoon or evening.

The storm survey information will also be available on our
website at http://www.weather.gov/ffc
