...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Florida, including the following 
  area, Brevard.

* WHEN...Until 600 PM EST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 430 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen. Locally higher amounts up to 4 inches have been
    reported.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Melbourne, Rockledge, Cocoa Beach, Satellite Beach, Patrick
    Space Force Base, Camp Holly Fish Camp, Merritt Island, West
    Melbourne, Indian Harbour Beach, Suntree, Viera, South
    Patrick Shores, Palm Shores, Melbourne Village, Pineda, and
    Eau Gallie.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
