Key Messages:

-Very quiet week with seasonably mild temperatures and dry
 weather.

Only precipitation currently in the forecast for the next 7 days 
is tomorrow morning. A clipper system will ride in on the 
northwest flow, and that could support some light rain/snow 
showers. As mentioned in previous forecast discussion, dry air 
aloft is expected to limit the precipitation chances, and 
flurries/sprinkles are the most likely scenario with this clipper.

West-northwest flow continues through much of next week, and as 
would be typical in this pattern we can expect a steady stream of 
troughs and ridges moving across the region. No arctic or polar
air masses to tap into yet, so that means we can look forward to 
relatively mild temperatures through the period with only minor 
ebbs and flows in temperature with each short wave and associated 
front.

.AVIATION.../For the 18Z TAFS through 18Z Saturday afternoon/

VFR conditions will continue through the TAF period with only VFR
mid and upper level clouds in the forecast. Surface winds from 
the south will be somewhat gusty this afternoon. Overnight a 
surface trough will cross the region, bringing a wind shift with 
winds coming out of the west by the end of the TAF period.
