High clouds have slowly been moving into Iowa overnight from the west
and northwest. For western Iowa, this has helped to mitigate rapid
cooling overnight. Temperatures have mainly been in the 40s overnight.
No precipitation has occurred. 

For today, temperatures will be in the upper 60s. A few spots in
western Iowa may be able to hit 70 degrees, though the higher level
clouds may end up preventing this. Dry conditions will continue this
afternoon. A cold front will move thorugh the area Monday and 
Tuesday, bringing cooler temperatures. The next chance for rain will 
come Wednesday into Thursday.
