Strong northwesterly winds with gusts up to 50 mph are possible today. These winds could impact high profile vehicles on east-west orientated roadways. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY... Northwest winds gusting up to 45 mph are expected during the day Thursday. This may cause difficult driving conditions for those traveling across east west oriented roadways. Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions are expected Thursday afternoon along the Colorado Kansas border. Late this weekend into next Monday, chances increase for wintry precipitation and freezing temperatures.
