The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for Poor Drainage Areas 
  for...
  Bell County in central Texas...

* Until midnight CDT.

* At 1028 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to 
  thunderstorms that will likely cause urban and small stream 
  flooding. Low lying and/or poor drainage areas will also 
  experience minor flooding across Central and Eastern Bell County. 
  Storms moving into the county are capable of producing between 1 
  to 2 inches of rain per hour.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Temple, Harker Heights, Belton, Morgan's Point Resort, Salado, 
  Little River-Academy, Troy, Rogers and Holland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
