Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region 
over the next several days.

High pressure will remain anchored offshore through the weekend. 
Low pressure developing offshore of the Carolinas is expected to 
track northward offshore through the end of the week. Daily 
shower and thunderstorm chances will linger through Friday, 
generally peaking during the afternoon and evening hours each day.

High pressure should dominate beginning late Saturday into early 
next week with a return to summer-like temperatures anticipated.
