The Flash Flood Watch continues for * Portions of north central Georgia, northeast Georgia, northwest Georgia and west central Georgia, including the following areas, in north central Georgia, Cherokee, Cobb, Dawson, Douglas, Fannin, Forsyth, Gilmer, Lumpkin, North Fulton, Pickens, South Fulton and Union. In northeast Georgia, Towns and White. In northwest Georgia, Bartow, Carroll, Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Floyd, Gordon, Haralson, Murray, Paulding, Polk, Walker and Whitfield. In west central Georgia, Coweta and Heard. * Through Wednesday afternoon. * Rainfall associated with the remnants of Ida will continue to fall through the evening and into the overnight hours. 1 to 2 inches of rain had fallen over north Georgia with pockets of 3 to 4 inches where heavier rainbands developed. An additional 1 to 2 inches of rain will be possible this evening through tonight with isolated heavier amounts.
