...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of eastern Cameron and
Vermilion Parishes through 730 PM CDT...

At 636 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Lowry to 12 miles south of Gueydan to 7
miles south of Intracoastal City. Movement was southwest at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Gueydan, Grand Chenier, Rockefeller Wildlife Range, Freshwater City,
Intracoastal City, Forked Island, Pecan Island, Klondike, Esther and
Florence Landing.
